    The church of St Bartholomew

    Built in the 13th century, it houses a funerary plaque of Barthélémy de La Place and 17th-century woodwork restored in the 1980s.

    Municipal forest of Chénérailles

    Donated by Jacques II de Bourbon, Count of La Marche, in 1424, the Chénérailles forest mixes species and allows the production of quality wood. A discovery trail allows you to learn more about the trees.
  • Heritage site

    The Eau Bonne washhouse

    Built in the 19th century, professional washerwomen, the lavandières, washed the hotels’ sheets after the famous Chénérailles fairs. The roof structure was restored to its original condition in the 1980s thanks to the "Friends of Old Chénérailles" association.

Description

  1. Join the Rue de l'Eglise and turn right.
  2. Take the path on the left and continue to the left until you reach the D990.
  3. Cross the departmental road and take the road opposite.
  4. Turn right, continue alongside the Brochets pond and then turn left.
  5. Follow the path through the woods to the road.
  6. Turn right and go around the water to reach the road.
  7. Cross over and take the path opposite through the woods to the road.
  8. Take the road on the left, pass the washhouse and the college before reaching the starting point again.
