Head towards the Mirambel forest for a sporty route on the forest trails and tracks around Sornac.
This circuit is part of the FFVélo Haute-Corrèze mountain bike base, the largest mountain biking area in France with 1000 km of marked circuits. The "La Forêt de Mirambel - Circuit court" short circuit (31 km) is a shortcut to this loop. This sporty circuit, very easy to cycle, does not present any difficulty. A very pleasant route on forest roads.

    The commune of Sornac, with 754 inhabitants at the last census, offers all the services of an attractive market town. Be sure to make a diversion to the magnificent church and its altarpiece on your way out or back.

    The Mirambel Forest

    At the start of the walk, the Place de Saint-Rémy is embellished with a magnificent Sully oak tree. Sully, a minister to King Henry IV, had roads and squares embellished with remarkable trees. The paving of the church, which dates from the 12th century, includes several tombstones. The outside of the apse is richly decorated with a modillion cornice.

    Les Anouilhards

    "The Millevaches plateau is not only the land of the ""Thousand Sources"": it is characterised by the presence of numerous ponds.
    Some of the owners offer veritable tourist estates that are a fisherman's paradise: this is the case of the Anouillards site with its 9-hectare pond. This is also the case in the commune near the town surrounding the Chaux pond."
