A tour starting from Ponty which goes up the Diège river to explore the countryside surrounding Ussel.

This circuit is part of the FFVélo Haute-Corrèze mountain bike base, the largest mountain biking area in France with 1000 km of marked circuits. Leaving from the same starting point, the "Le Rocher de la Poule" circuit is a shortened version of this itinerary, while the most athletic can follow the "La Cime des Bois" circuit towards Chaverochette (allow 22 additional km). This circuit does not have any technical difficulty; it is suitable for a long, easy-going outing...

    Lake Ponty

    The 18-hectare Lake Ponty offers a natural setting ideal for relaxation as well as for sports activities: Canoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding, walking and fishing are some of the many activities available around the lake.
  • River

    The Diège

    This river has its source a few kilometres away on the eastern edge of the Millevaches plateau in the commune of Saint-Setiers and flows into the Dordogne. It is the ideal playground for fishermen, kayakers and walkers. 
  • Geological interest

    The Quarry

    Located in the municipality of Lignareix, this rock quarry exploits migmatitic granite and produces different types of materials, from boulders to sand, by crushing the rock. This is a private site, closed to the public.
