A tour starting from Ponty which goes up the Diège river to explore the countryside surrounding Ussel.

This circuit is part of the FFVélo Haute-Corrèze mountain bike base, the largest mountain biking area in France with 1000 km of marked circuits. Leaving from the same starting point, the "Le Rocher de la Poule" circuit is a shortened version of this itinerary, while the most athletic can follow the "La Cime des Bois" circuit towards Chaverochette (allow 22 additional km). Located in the municipality of Lignareix, this rock quarry exploits migmatitic granite and produces different types of materials, from boulders to sand, by crushing the rock. This is a private site, closed to the public.
